• About Centralia Dollars for Scholars

    Centralia High School Dollars for Scholars is a locally operated and supported, non-profit, tax-exempt scholarship foundation. Managed by an all volunteer board of directors, our purpose is to provide scholarships and academic support to CHS graduates. We are a chapter affiliate of the Citizens Scholarship Foundation of America, Inc., a nationally recognized non-profit student aid service organization.

    We were established in 1997 and since that time, we have awarded hundreds if scholarships and thousands of dollars to Centralia High School graduate.

    Several endowments have been in establishment and will benefit students in perpetuity. People have given generously especially through memorials which honor the memory of their loved one

    Washington Dollars for Scholars recognized the outstanding efforts of the community volunteers from Centralia High School Dollars for Scholars Foundation for raising over $1 million for scholarships in their community, by inducting the chapter into the Million Dollar Club. A feat like this does not happen overnight. This chapter has worked tirelessly for years to ensure that the cause of education is not forgotten in their community. Through years of many fundraisers and keeping their members motivated, Centralia High School Dollars for Scholars Foundation is a true testament to the Dollars for Scholars mission of getting more student off to school with a little help from the community.
